Violence can take many forms – but it is never okay!
At the Centre against violence, you who live in Jämtland County can receive counselling for violence in close relationships and honour-related violence and oppression – regardless of gender.
Are you 15 years or older? Then you can contact us directly for help.
Conversations can take place – digitally – by phone – at our reception in Östersund If you need an interpreter, we will arrange a telephone interpreter.
We have a duty of confidentiality. You can be anonymous at the beginning. If we become concerned that a child is at risk, we are obliged to report our concern to the social services
• Support conversations for those who have been subjected to violence
• Group for women who have been subjected to violence
• Support for change for those who subject a loved one to violence
Possibility of individual on-site solutions for those who have difficulty getting to our reception.
• Support for change for those who have bought sex, have a sex addiction or problematic porn surfing
• Support conversations for you who are a relative/friend of someone who is subjected to violence
All interventions are individual except for the women’s group.
• Conversations for children who have experienced violence
• Temporary accommodation in an emergency apartment
